Workforce Santa Cruz County provides young adults (16-24) and adult (18+) job seekers and employees with access to a wide range of programs to improve skills, discover career pathways, participate in training, and so much more. Workforce Santa Cruz County is ready to help you achieve success!

CalJOBS is California’s online resource to help job seekers navigate the state’s workforce services. You can search and apply for jobs, create résumés, find education and training, download the CalJOBS app, and more. Learn More Here.

YOUNG ADULTS
If you are 16-24, we can help you back into a job, or into your first job or career by exploring career options, preparing for the job search, and connecting you with training or work opportunities that allow you to achieve more!

ADULTS & DISLOCATED WORKERS
If you are 18 years or older, you can access our no-cost services to find a stable job or to find training for a new career. We can even help you figure out what kind of career would be best for you. Dislocated workers receive customized services specific to individuals who have been terminated or laid off, or have received a notice of termination or layoff, generally attributed to a plant closure or downsizing.

VETERANS
Veterans Career Services are available for unemployed and underemployed veterans and their spouses and include access to training, job search and placement assistance, and other supportive services. We can inform and connect you to upcoming job fairs and we can provide resources for your job search.
Disclaimer: Minimum Requirements for Job Seekers
Please note the following minimum requirements to be eligible for Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) employment services:
• Authorization to Work: To receive WIOA employment services, an individual must have authorization to work in the United States. This is typically verified through Form I-9, which requires presenting documents such as a U.S. Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or Employment Authorization Document. More information on acceptable documents can be found on the USCIS website.
• Selective Service Registration: Men born on or after January 1, 1960, residing in the United States (citizen or non-citizen), must register with Selective Service between their 18th and 26th birthday to be eligible for WIOA services. You can register at www.sss.gov.
• Priority of service is provided to veterans, eligible spouses, individuals receiving public assistance, low-income individuals, and those who are basic skills deficient for individualized career and training services.
