On-the-Job Training (OJT)
Finding and training the right employees can be costly and time-consuming. The On-the-Job Training Program helps businesses reduce hiring costs while building a skilled workforce. Employers receive 50% wage reimbursement—up to $10,000 per new hire—to support training for in-demand jobs.
This program provides businesses with financial support during training, allowing them to develop talent without added financial strain. Workforce Santa Cruz County (WFSCC) assists with eligibility screening, paperwork, and reimbursement processing so employers can focus on growing their business.
