About the Career Centers

Through the Career Centers, Workforce Santa Cruz County partners, the Workforce Investment Board, Employment and Benefit Services Division, and the California Employment Development Department provide comprehensive employment related services.

The Career Center at Watsonville provides a full range of employment resources including; reference materials, computers, internet access, copy services, fax machines, and telephones. Additionally, there is a satellite Career Center in Capitola and at Shoreline Workforce Development Services.  

Our customer service staff is there to assist all job seekers to access the available resources, use the computers, apply for on-line jobs, review labor market information, and develop resumes and more.

The Career Centers are partially funded by the Workforce Investment Act. This Act funds employment and training-related opportunities in various levels of services depending on the applicant's needs and eligibility for the programs.
